With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Barbara Sumey in Casper, Wyoming, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Judith Barbara find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald W. J. and Helen Richards (Arters); her brother Donald James; and her great-niece Taylor Renee Cunningham. She is survived by: her spouse Shelden Sumey; her sister Janice Cunningham (Bob) of Gold Canyon; her nephew Jacob Cunningham; and her great-nephew Levi Cunningham.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (318 E 6th St, Casper, WY 82601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Saviour's Yough Program, the Casper Humane Society and the Food for Thought Program.
