With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lois Mae Shickich (Casper, Wyoming), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lois Mae left this world on May 26, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe E. Shickich of Anthony's Catholic Church; and her brothers, Jack and Bob Tripeny. She is survived by: her children, Joe Jr. (Barbara) of Seattle, R. Michael (Clairyce) of Casper, Mary Lynne (Leon) of Casper and John (Devie) of Portland; her grandchildren, Danny (Heather), Mary (Jeremiah), James (Rachel), Ana Mae Shickich, Kaiya Vasquez, Carly LaPorte and Amanda MacEwan; and her great grandchildren, Addy, Joey, Frankie, Ruby and Vivian. She is also survived by her children, and was beloved by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (710 E 2nd St, Casper, WY 82601). A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (604 S Center St, Casper, WY 82601). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery.
