He is survived by: his former wife Sharon Trebil of Mason City, Iowa.; his children, Tracy Lloyd (Kevin) of Casper, Wyoming, Dale Kliven (Kim) of Manly, Iowa, Darcy Kliven of Casper, Wyoming and Tammy Kliven of Story City, Iowa.; and his sister Darlene Thompson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 11 great-grandchildren.
