He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Tanner and Myrtle Moore Tanner; and his former wife Winona Williams Brummel. He is survived by: his children, Paula Jane, Mark Gregory Tanner and Marva Hoffmeyer; and his grandchildren, Brandon Tanner Jackson, Sarah Annena Jackson Langton, Ryan Cameron Jackson, Jeffrey Peter Cuno, Rebecca Jane Cuno Hankey, Gregory Hayden Tanner and Lindsey Christina Tanner. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
