We are sad to announce that, on August 27, 2025, at the age of 71, Michael Ray DeFreece of Casper, Wyoming passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father William DeFreece (Bill). He is survived by: his mother Jean DeFreece (Bomhoff); his wife Dawn Canfield; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Mike Rodgers; his granddaughters, Brylee and Maddy of Casper; his brother Scott; and his sister-in-law Susan of Cheyenne. He is also survived by aunts and cousins.
