He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Shaffer and Clifford Shaffer; his son Raymond; and his sisters, Colleen and Sherilyn.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Stacy Jensen (Rick) and Michael (Trinady); his daughter-in-law Pam; his daughters, Amber Jolley, Lisa Bell and Crystal Kirkman; and his sisters, Margaret and Ann. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
