It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Lucille Ortiz of Casper, Wyoming, born in Kemmerer, Wyoming, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice "Maury" Wright and June Gregory Wright; and her sisters, Penny Kay Neubauer and Maureen Nelson of Casper. She is survived by: her siblings, Greg Wright of Longmont Colorado and Kitty Kirkley of Euless Texas; her children, Scott Ortiz (Chandra) of Casper and Lou Ann Ortiz McGivern (Bill) of Casper; her husband Max Ortiz Jr.; and her grandchildren, Tatum, Tanner, Tia and Trista. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in Sharon's name to Central Wyoming dementia care, the Casper Humane society or St. Patrick's Catholic church.
