He is survived by: his brothers, John O'Brien (Lynda), Michael O'Brien (Sharon) and Daniel O'Brien; his nieces and nephews, Laura O'Brien, Kelli Weisgerber, Darcy Genrich (Dan), Keegan O'Brien, Connie Stansbury (Dan), Michael O'Brien, Jr., Frank O'Brien and Robert O'Brien; his great-niece Sophia Louis (An Nguyen); and his great-nephew Caden Louis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (710 E 2nd St, Casper, WY 82601). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (604 S Center St, Casper, WY 82601). A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery (1860 E 12th St, Casper, WY 82601).
