He was predeceased by : his parents, Patricia Dacus and Leroy Dacus; his sisters, Dorothy Gabriel and Leona Trionfo; his brother-in-law Pat Trionfo; his brother Leo Cook; his close friend Scott Maxwell; his nephews, Oscar Pena and Rick Townsend; his aunts, Bonnie Stoops, Bucky Stoops and Judy (Jay Nation); and his grandmother Verl Gunzenhauser.

He is survived by : his children, Zachury Dacus (Alyssa), Kayla Dacus (Jeremy Hiatt) and Bryce Dacus (Heidi Dacus); and his grandchildren, Brinleighe, Kartur, Adeline and Oakley.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the North Casper Clubhouse (1032 E L St, Casper, WY 82601).
