She was predeceased by: her parents, Florencio Montoya and Isabel Montoya; her husband Manuel Valdez; her son Michael Valdez; her granddaughter Alytreus Rowe; and her partner Lavern Lawhead.
She is survived by: her brother Dan Montoya; her children, Joseph Valdez (Ginger), Maria Seveyka (Brian) and Shelley Rowe; her grandchildren, Mykaela Zentgraft (AJ), Jameson Rowe (Brooklyn) and Ian Seveyka; and her sons, Larry Lawhead (Becky), Dick Lawhead (Tammy), Bill Lawhead (Deb) and David Lawhead (Linda). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
