Bud Racicky Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bud Racicky of Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 90. As we bid adieu to Bud's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bud has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his child Tave'Racicky Accardo; and his parents, Louis Racicky and Lillian Racicky. He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Sheehan (Robert) and Tony Racicky.
Viewing was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes (1900 E 19th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A celebration of life was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Christian Church (219 W 27th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A burial was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at the Cheyenne Memorial Gardens (4701 Christensen Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cheyenne Frontier Days Foundation (https://foundation.cfdrodeo.com) for the benefit of the Morning Star American Indian Village.
