Evadne Ruth Siler wrote a sympathy message

“Heartbroken over the news about your incredible man, husband and father I was privileged to work with. Darrin was such an encourager many times when I needed it most. Heaven was ready for this remarkable saint but understand his family and friends were not ready and feel cheated by the short time they shared. May God give you peace and calm as you proceed through these difficult days ahead. Love and prayers to each of you.”
