He was predeceased by: his parents, Christobal Maes and Rose Marie Erickson; his stepfather Eric Erickson; his siblings, Chris Maes, Henry Maes and Theresa Maes; and his daughter Leanna Streitmatter.
He is survived by: his children, Lucretia Maes, Eli Maes and Jonathon Maes; his brother Frank Maes; his sister-in-law Kim Maes; and his nephew Zack White. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren.
