With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Earl McHenry in Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2025 at the age of 85. As David departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David. Though David may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret McHenry. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Trojovsky (Tim), Robin McHenry (Angie) and Sean McHenry (Andrea); his sister Jane Wostenberg (Lindajo Hayes); and his grandchildren, Erin Sutter (Jeff), Kathryn Shrove (Brent), Kyle McHenry (Alexandria), David Bellis (Wendy), Sarah McHenry (Gabe McDonald) and Ivy McHenry.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1808 Hot Springs Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
