We bid farewell to Doc Gene Horton of Cheyenne, Wyoming, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 24, 2026 at the age of 81. Doc touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Doc shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doc farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Dusty (Christine), Kelly (Karen), Shelley (Toad) and Wendy (Matt); and his sisters, Sharon Horton Federer and Barbara Horton. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
