She is survived by: her sisters, Donna Newland (Bernard) and Evelyn Grooms; and her grandchildren, Kristi Matie (Alan) and John Allen (Christina). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
