He is survived by: his children, John R. Caldwell (Sharon) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Debra K. Cornelio (Frank) of Casper, Wyoming, Christi L. Winslow (Kelly) of Erie, Colorado and Cindy L. Ecker (David) of Westminster, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Tony Cornelio, Brandon Cornelio, Sarah Cornelio Green, Stephanie Winslow-Sell, Danielle Moore and Kendra Winslow. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; three nephews; and four nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Nature Conservancy or the Wyoming Wildlife Federation in his honor.
