With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emilio Gomez (Cheyenne, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Emilio's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Emilio's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio R. Gomez Jr. and Viola C. Gomez (Mork); his brother Michael A. Gomez; and his grandparents, Emilio R. Gomez Sr., Justina R. Gomez, Leandro Gonzalez and Florentina Gonzales.
He is survived by: his son Emilio R. Wilson IV (Jill Wilson); and his grandchildren, Zyana Wilson and Emilio R. Wilson V.. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (603 House Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82007). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (801 E Pershing Blvd, Cheyenne, WY 82001).
