Gary Mark Himmelberg Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Mark Himmelberg of Cheyenne, Wyoming, who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Himmelberg and Leona Himmelberg (Reining); his sister Connie Mazour; and his sister-in-law Karen Schutte. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Himmelberg (Ostdiek) of Cheyenne; his sons, Dean Himmelberg (Debbie Elder) of Skiatook and Doug Himmelberg (Stephanie) of Fort Collins, Colorado; his granddaughter Brooklyn Himmelberg of Fort Collins; and his siblings-in-law, Don Schutte of Kearney, Adrian Mazour of Norfolk, Nebraska and Mary Schutte of Lawrence, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
