With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Mitzel Tomlinson of Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on April 5, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bruce Allen Tomlinson and Julia McClain Tomlinson; his wife Betty Wilkens Tomlinson; his children, David Tomlinson (Barbara), Neal Tomlinson (Amy) and Denise Tomlinson Freeman; his grandchildren, Andrea Tomlinson, Ava Tomlinson, Max Tosi, Jeremy Kleist, Heather Kleist Schutz (Matt) and Kristina Kleist; his great grandchild Landon Schutz; and his brother Ben Tomlinson (Rita). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the CFD Military Committee, Veterans Rock or a charity of your choice.
