Joyce R. Kimber wrote a sympathy message

“Mr. Holmes was my landlord for 9 years and never raised my rent nor he and his wife forgot to deliver a Christmas gift each year. From tins of cookies, candy or trays of a meat or cheese gift. I had never met anyone like him with such a rare and generous spirit. He was a wonderful Blessing to me, and I certainly hope that he was greeted by the wonderful words, "Well done thou good and faithful servant."”
