Janet C Whitehead Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet C Whitehead in Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Lodi, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 16, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Donald Davis and Laura Lillian Davis. She is survived by: her husband Ed Whitehead; her friend Allison; her brother Ronald Davis (Barbara) of New Mexico; her children, Michael Whitehead (Miqen Robinson) of Pennsylvania, Karen Reynolds-Dilks of Arizona and Laura Ditges (Jeff) of Broomfield, CO.; her grandchildren, Ryan, Kristen, Andrew, Allison, Zachary and Niles; and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Colin, Eliot, Maya, Mateo and Adi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes (1900 E 19th St, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A reception will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 1900 E 21st St, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Despite medical setbacks, including a nasty bout with Covid, Janet never gave up, always making sure to take part in community activities, to work at being at her best, to dress up each day and to enjoy whatever the day brought.
