He was predeceased by: his wife Fern Hegler Sapienza. He is survived by: his sister Ann Rudolph of Decatur Illinois; and his children, John Sapienza (Carol) of Brunswick Maryland, Lynn Olsen (Tim) of Eugene Oregon, Jerral Sapienza (Jennifer) of Portland Oregon and Laurie Sapienza of Cheyenne. He is also survived by three grandsons, one granddaughter and three great grandsons.
