He was predeceased by: his brother Terry John Waite; his grandparents, Geraldine Waite and Kenneth Waite; his uncle Kenneth Waite; and his aunt Cathie Langi.

He is survived by: his parents, Julieann Waite and Michael Nichelson; his wife Heather; his stepson VonRyan; his children, Drew Nichelson, Austin Strauser and Monique Novak-Nichelson; his stepfather Russell Correll; his siblings, Nicole Tobler and Ken Nichelson; and his mother-in-law Anne Schmidt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
