He is survived by: his wife Josie Saenz; his children, Patricia Schmidt (Kris), Joe Saenz Jr. (Sandy) and Michelle Saenz-Holtzhauser (Pat); his grandchildren, Trevon Saenz-Holtzhauser, Tavish Saenz-Holtzhauser, Martha Saenz, Matthew Schmidt, Catie Saenz-Holtzhauser, Anna Schmidt, Joey Saenz III, P. J. Saenz-Holtzhauser and Makalah Saenz; and his great grandchildren, Dominic Helmberger, Trevon Saenz-Holtzhauser Jr., Kasey Saenz-Holtzhauser and Scarlett Holtzhauser-Knowles.
