With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karla Kay Wright (Cheyenne, Wyoming), born in Laramie, Wyoming, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Owens and Janice Owens; and her brother Rodney. She is survived by: her husband Keith Wright; her brother Rick Owens of Wheatland; her children, Tim Wright (April) and Jennifer Wharton (Jay); her grandchildren, Johnny Johnston, Chloe Wright, Katie Wright, Caleb Wright, Sam Wharton (Eleccia), London Wharton and Jace Wharton; and her pets, Ringo and Speckles.
In lieu of flowers, the family would welcome donations to Laramie County Community College Rodeo Team, attention to Dean Finnerty.
