She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina Nielson Essley and Roy Elmer Essley; her husband Don; her daughter Debbie Welsh; and her siblings, Edna, Henry Meredith, Dwain Essley, Norma Milligan and Jerry Lester (Roy Montgomery).
She is survived by: her sister Viola (Vi); her children, Deborah (Debbie), Connie and Ron (Ron); her daughter-in-law Laurie; her grandchildren, Aaron and Jennifer; her sons, Sean (Jana), Kyle (Wendy) and Bryan (Nici); her great grandchildren, Dustin, Taylor, Mickayla and Kaleb; her sisters, Barb and Dale Childerston; her sister-in-law Grace Essley; and her pet Ginger. She is also survived by other loving family members, friends.
In lieu of flowers, an act of kindness would be a beautiful tribute to Leona's life.
