He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil G. Hehr and Beuna E. Nolan Hehr Metzler; his wife Joyce Hehr; his brother Kerry Hehr; his stepfather Edward Metzler; his stepbrothers, Jerry Metzler, Jack Metzler and Don Metzler; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Martens.
He is survived by: his son Shawn Hehr (Kathy) of Cheyenne; his stepchildren, Sheryl Kovalcik (Johnny) of Baton Rouge, Kennie Martens of Cheyenne and Connie Powell (Scott) of Cheyenne; his sister Kathy Hehr Alden (John) of Cheyenne; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Hehr of Green River and Doris King (Mary Etta Metzler) of Cheyenne. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
