He is survived by: his mother Naomi Chávez; his stepchildren, Raymond "Corky" Girten, Rosanna Girten and Eduardo Garcia; his grandchildren, Abeni and Layne; his siblings, Sheryl Chávez Munoz (Carl Munoz), William Chávez, Jr. (Rebekah Chávez), Brian Chávez, Darlis Clark (Josiah Clark Sr), Cynthia Chávez-Simon and Eric Chávez; and his pets, MoneyPenny and Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
