It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marabel Frances Gates of Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Sheridan, Wyoming, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred R Blakeman and Frances S Blakeman (Roberts); her husband Leo W. Gates; her children, Francie Lobstein, Robert Gates and Maralee Koch Smith; her sons-in-law, Glynn Lobstein and Michael Homola; and her sisters, Lois Morgan, Elaine and Lillian.
She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia Lipka of Rock Springs, WY and Lynn Homola of Battle Ground, WA; her siblings, Ima, Dallas and Tom; and her sister-in-law Edith Blakeman of Sheridan, WY.. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
