Merlin Nemitz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merlin Nemitz (Cheyenne, Wyoming), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Nemitz. He is survived by: his father Kenneth Nemitz; his wife Diane Nemitz; his children, Holly Jones (Ed), Ben Nemitz (Katie), Heidi Case (David), Heather Earles (Rockne), Matt Nemitz and Honey Lopez (Benny); his grandchild Angels; and his brothers, Marvin (Rita) and Joe (Nadine). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Cheyenne Hills Church (7505 US-30, Cheyenne, WY 82001). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Calendar Mountain View Memorial Park (10701 Yellowstone Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009). A reception was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Cheyenne Hills Church (7505 US-30, Cheyenne, WY 82001).
