She was predeceased by: her parents, Mayo Coon and Syrena Coon (Steele); and her siblings, Kathryn Grossnickle, Serena Grossnickle, Hazel Daum, Norma Gaer and Mayo "Bud" Coon.

She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, Nick Palmer (Raenie) and Cheri Hartwig (Ron); and her grandchildren, Joe (Delia) of Norfolk, VA and Edith Irwin (JR) of Aberdeen, SD. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
