He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Brandt and Paul Brandt; and his grandson Justin. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Lisa (Will) and Troy; his granddaughter Melissa (Shawn); and his great grandchildren, Isabelle, Claire, Emery, Lincoln and Mother Nicole.
