He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tafoya and Oralia Tafoya (Ortega); his former wife Imelda Tafoya; his parents-in-law, Jesse and Julia Perez; his son Dominic Tafoya; his son-in-law Tal Neemann; his brother-in-law Richard Arnaut; his sister Geraldine; his brother-in-law Mark Haight; and his niece Andrea Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Christina Tafoya, Iliana Robertson (David), Oralia Neemann and Felipe Tafoya; his siblings, Jesse Tafoya (Maryann), Joann Benavidez, Linda Arnaut, Lee Tafoya, Paul Tafoya (Corina), Janet Rivera, Joe Tafoya and Steve Tafoya (Debra Gomez); his sisters-in-law, Helen Martinez, Patricia Perez (Robert Ortiz) and Jessica Perez; and his grandchildren, Dylan Tafoya, Alexandra Tafoya and Amanda Dominguez. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
