He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Allen and Emma Allen; and his siblings, James, Marvin, Pearl Allen, Bernadine Gent and Imogene Monnette.
He is survived by: his children, Robert and Gayle; his wife Phyllis; his son-in-law William Ross; and his grandson Christopher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
