He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Clyde and Ethel Cooper; his father James Bellis; his brother Keith Bellis; his grandson Zane Bellis; his niece Stacey Thyarks; and his uncle Bill Cooper.

He is survived by: his pet Scout; his mother Melita Bellis; his daughter Trina Kay Relph (RC) of Lake Forest, CA.; and his sister Linda Thyarks (Barney). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
