He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Wayne McCoy of Cedarvale and Catherine Creveling McCoy of Ark City, Kansas.; his former wife Anne Miller of Dodge City; his wife Judy Crane Elliott of Chevy Chase; his son Theodore N. McCoy, Jr.; and his brother Thomas Wayne McCoy.
He is survived by: his son Miller W. McCoy; his sister-in-law Linda McCoy of Lawrence; and his nieces, Cathy Hanson, Halina Bini and Samantha Gallegos.
In keeping with Ted's good example, friends are encouraged to make a donation in Ted's memory to a charity of choice.
