It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theodore William Gostas of Cheyenne, Wyoming, born in Butte, Montana, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gostas and Helena Gostas; and his brother George Gostas. He is survived by: his former wife Johanna Ludecke of Sheridan, WY.; his children, Demetrius (Linda Gostas) and Laura (Dirk Stamp); his wife JoAnne Bateman (Jody); his stepson Jason Kivisto (Jamie); his grandsons, Demetre, Darien, Daine Gostas, Jason, Jean-Luc Stamp and Brayden Kivisto; and his nephew Tom Gostas.
He donated 100% of the proceeds from his artwork to the scholarship fund. Ted self-published a book of sketches and poetry called "Prisoner" in 1974 and donated much of those proceeds as well as free copies.
