The family is also working on plans for a permanent memorial tribute to honor his life.

“There are no words to express my profound grief for Dr Hallingbye’s family!! I just can’t accept that he is really gone! He was so much more to me than just my physician. He is the only one that I knew had my best interest at heart, & would always tell me the truth and what direction that I needed to go in to rectify the situation. His warm & amazing smile was always so comforting, as if to say, It will be alright! ! I will miss you for life!!”
