He was predeceased by: his father Wendell Jackson Sr.; his grandparents, Fern, Fritz Tucker, Vera and JVan Jackson Sr.; his sister Tonya Jackson; his aunts, Pearl, Crystal, Starr and Gwenellyn; and his uncle Vernell Jackson.

He is survived by: his mother Alice M Carter; and his stepparents, Dennis Carter and Verna Fay Jackson.
