He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald "Tuffy" Wellington and Glenrose "Rosie" Wellington (Hoff); his brother Don; and his nephew Chris Connell. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Kimberly Hughes (Sam) and Matthew Wellington (Dona); his grandchildren, Madelyn Hughes, Johnathan Wellington (Kallie), Dylan Wellington and Allison Hughes; his sibling Jan Connell (Bill); and his sister-in-law Annette Wellington.
