Dawn Gunter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dawn Gunter of Cody, Wyoming, born in Appleton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 63. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Wheeler and Beth Wheeler; and her daughter Tara VanGroll. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gunter of Cody, WY; her sister Vickie Wheeler of Appleton; her children, Amanda VanGroll of Cody, Sarah VanGroll of Oshkosh and Nathan VanGroll; and her grandchildren, Dominic, Braelyn, Brianna and Brady.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ballard Funeral Home (636 19th St, Cody, WY 82414-2136).
