It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Monroe of Cody, Wyoming, born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Eileen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Eileen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her brother Ron Ashbeck; her grandson Matthew Joseph McNamara; and her great grandchild Malice Cypress McNamara. She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Ann Lindberg (Hans Lennart Lindberg) and Michele Mary Monroe (Brian Lawrence Mota); her grandchildren, Marybeth Eileen McNamara and Andrew Lee Johnston (Karol Teresa Alva); her sisters, Kathleen Moran (Mike) of Rudolph, WI, Dianne Kennedy of Dallas, TX and Maribeth Anderson (Bob) of Minneapolis, MN; and her sister-in-law Sue Ashbeck of Midwest, WY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
