She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Schaefer and Edna Schaefer of Powell, Wyoming.; her brothers, James and Lynn Schaefer; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Schaefer.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Bales of Cody, Wyoming.; and her children, Jason Bales, Kyle Bales and Jennifer Tucker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
