It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max L. Ruby of Cody, Wyoming, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Max L. Ruby to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Margaret Groves and Jesse Donald Ruby; and his siblings, Dola, Dale, Wyoma and Ceola.
He is survived by: his children, Frosty Ruby (Jessie), Clint Ruby (Sue), Alicia Wright (Doug), Melody Christensen (Grant) and Nicole Burr (Jeremy); and his grandchildren, John Ruby (Tonya), Keith Ruby, Kyle Ruby (Sam), Christine Koch (Adam), Chelsie Simons (Sam), Orrin Christensen, Olivia Elkins (Tyler), Matt Ramsey (Cheyanne) and Courtney Ramsey. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Park County Animal Shelter in honor of Max and his love for animals.
