She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Ethel Louise Lehrman (Chambers); her husband Oral Wayne Yates; her son Danny Yates; and her sister Ann Curry.

She is survived by: her son Dave Yates (Joann) of Douglas; and her daughter-in-law Anne Yates Leimser of Columbus, Montana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
