He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Lindsay (Freeman) and Ira Gardner Cash; his wife Betty Lorene Cash; his siblings, Douglas Cash and Cherry Pickett; and his daughter Jenny Rebecca Cash Geringer.
He is survived by: his sisters, Rita Faye Cash Howell of Macon, Georgia and Jane Cash Cooper of Punta Gorda, Florida; his children, Marsha Lorene Cash of Dougla, Wendy Lynn Cash Smith (Rick) of Georgetown and Mark Jerome Cash Jr. (Jennifer) of Orangeburg; his grandchildren, Aaron Michael Pierce of Taichung, Sarah Rose Smith of Georgetown, Jacob Charles Smith of Round Rock and Ira Robert Cash of Orangeburg; and his great grandchildren, Bruce Gene Generali of Georgetown and John Allen Generali of Georgetown, Texas..
