He is survived by: his grandson Jerold; his wife Nancy; his sons, Gordon Preis (Karen) of Emblem and Jerold Preis (Jenn) of Burlington; his sisters, Joan Meier of Lander and Janet Parrott of Denver; his grandchildren, Amanda Taylor (Lance), Jess Preis (Claire), Logan Phillips and Alexandria Preis; and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Baylie and Levi Taylor. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

We knew him and his wife, Nancy, over many years and through many circumstances: Amway, H & R Block and insurance connections among many others. We appreciated their gentle and yet solid affirmations of their faith and their boldness to share with others. Their family definitely carries on the legacy of lives well lived in faithfulness as he did from his parents. The community will be the lesser for the lack of his presence.”
