He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Neal Grouns and Margaret Lynell Sanders (Farthing); his stepfather Kenneth Leon Sanders; his sister Bethany Lynn Grouns; his sister-in-law Debbie Grouns; and his grandparents, T. W. "Buss" Grouns, Edna Leon Grouns (Burr), Richard Eaton Farthing and Grace Margaret McKinney.
He is survived by: his daughter Desaray Gordon (Jess); his grandchildren, Madisyn Grouns, Kayden Grouns and Paisley Gordon; his brother David Grouns; his aunt Naomi Sullivan; and his uncle Paul Farthing (Kate). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
