It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice Hammond (Evanston, Wyoming), who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Lynn Jensen Kofoed; her son Michael Wiggam; her grandson Jordan Hansen; her mother Ila Kofoed; her parents-in-law, Ervin and Aloma Hammond; and her siblings-in-law, Dwight Nelson and Evette Shaw.
She is survived by: her husband Kurt Hammond; her children, Joleen Hansen (Harold), Glenn Wiggam, Brandon Hammond (Maria) and Emily Cannon; her siblings, Ellen Olsen (Terry), Celia Williams (Kent) and Clyde Kofoed (Tracy); and her sisters-in-law, Shawna Johnson (Doug) and Wendy Nelson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Sage Street LDS Chapel (201 Sage St, Evanston, WY 82930). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Evanston City Cemetery (516 County Rd, Evanston, WY 82930).
Her home was a place of love, laughter, and warmth, where she taught those around her the values of love, charity, and service.
